How to do a Stability Ball Exchange

Stability Ball Exchange

Lie on your back and place a stability ball between your ankles and feet. Next, reach up and grab the ball from between your feet and then lower your upper body and legs toward the ground, stopping a few inches short of touching the floor. Pause, and then return the ball to your feet and lower your legs and upper body toward the ground again. Continue for your desired number of repetitions.

Med Ball Alternating Reach and Crossover

Lie on your back with your arms extended behind you while holding a medicine ball, and your legs extended slightly off the ground. Next, lift your shoulder blades off the ground as you reach your arms across your body and simultaneously pull your knees in the opposite direction. Pause, and then slowly lower your body as you extend your legs and repeat the exercise on the opposite side. Continue for your desired number of repetitions.

You may be wondering: Is LA Fitness closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day? See below for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day holiday hours at LA Fitness clubs in the United States and Canada.

New Year’s Eve Hours for LA Fitness

Thursday, December 31, 2015 – All LA Fitness clubs in the U.S. and Canada will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.*

New Year’s Day Hours for LA Fitness

Friday, January 1, 2016 – All LA Fitness clubs in the U.S. and Canada will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., unless otherwise stated below**.   All LA Fitness clubs in the U.S. and Canada will reopen at their regular times on Saturday, January 2, 2016. Please check the LA Fitness website at www.LAFitness.com for your local club’s regular hours.

KIDS KLUB

Kids Klub will be closed on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day at ALL LA Fitness Clubs.**

*Lake Success club will close at 11:59 p.m. December 30, 2015, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Lake Success club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year’s Day, and will reopen at 5 a.m. on January 2, 2016.

**All former 24 Hour Fitness clubs (see below) will be open until 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will reopen at 6 a.m. on January 1, 2016. Kids Klub will be closed on New Year’s Eve.
