I am 18, 5 foot 9 inches, 237 pounds and 33.7% body fat. I need help finding out what my macronutrients should be? I want to stick to a high protein diet but I’m wondering on to what my macronutrients should look like. – Jimmy
I’d like to say that some defined ratio of carbohydrates, fats and proteins (the three macronutrients) will affect weight loss. However, your weight loss issues could be due to several other variables besides just diet and macronutrients. It is likely that your excess weight is due to genetics, lifestyle, activity level as well as your diet.
Try paying attention to what goes in your mouth at each meal, and make the best choices available. This curbs excess intake, which leads to weight gain, for most people.
Focus on consuming 30 or more grams fiber and under 60 grams Fat DAILY at your target calorie level 500 Calories less than what you are eating currently. – Debbie J., MS, RD

I am 5’7 female 24% body fat 156pounds 19 years old (almost 20) I’m having a hard time figuring out my macros. I work out 5-6 times a week hit the weights 2-3 week incorporate cardio with some of my exercises or just strictly cardio depends how I feel. Before I worried about just meeting my caloric intake which was 1500 with no weight training no cardio now I fluctuate with pretty much when my body was hungry for greens carbs n good fats but didn’t notice much or pay attention to scale but I’m trying to get serious with being leaner trying to build more muscle while lies the fat but it’s hard to tell how much I should be putting into my body on certain workouts and hearing about “refeed” days and so on. I no everyone’s body works differently I just don’t no if I’m under or over calories or if a 35/40/25 c/p/f split would be reasonable on a 1346 calorie intake while subtract 100 calories and from there adding 200-300 carlories and then back to subtracting slowly moving around to see what i get or any better ideas? Suggestions?? I’d like help please 🙁 no judgement I’m clueless
