I have been working out, going regularly to the gym and also eating healthy meals, but my weight has not dropped below 128 lbs. for the last 8 months. What can I do to lose 8 more pounds? –Krupa

It sounds like you might be at your natural weight set-point.  If you are trying to shift beyond that, it will take additional changes beyond your current healthy eating habits and workouts.

Look everywhere for opportunities for more activity and where extra calories might be sneaking into your healthy eating.  Beverages often are the culprit.  Even occasional treats can keep you from your goals — a single brownie sundae can add 1,000 Calories!  Try shaking up your eating routine by having a day with no prepared foods, meat-free, or eat everything with chopsticks to slow down your eating! – Debbie J., MS, RD
