Beans, beans, beans….vegetables, vegetables, vegetables!  You can work with an endless combination of flavors for hot and cold dishes.  Add an assortment of fruits, grains and milk substitutes and meat analogs to make meals interesting. – Debbie J., MS, RD

  1. Carbohydrates are the primary fuel source of choice for our bodies to supply us with energy. Fats are second. Proteins are the least effective fuel source of macronutrients. But they’re the most important in muscle recovery and repair AFTER exercise.
