I’m 5’2 and weigh about 110 pounds, and from everything I’ve looked into I am not overweight. I’ve been working out and eating healthy for a few months and I have all this stomach fat that won’t go! I’m fine everywhere else and nothing seems to be working, Help!!?? – Victoria
Abdominal fat is tough to lose when you’re already at an ideal weight. Make sure a good amount of core work and cardio are parts of your exercise routine and tune-up your diet. Limit refined flour, added sugars and alcohol, as these are often big belly culprits. Get plenty of water, produce and consider drinking green tea. It’s also important to remember that you can’t target areas for fat loss. – Debbie J., MS, RD

I need to loose 40 pound I’m doing zumba and then sauna for 15min I been doing it for about 2month but I dont see no result I need help please. Rafaelina
I understand the part about limiting your refined flour intake and sugars and alcohol and having a good cardio program. But how does adding a good amount of core work to my workout help if you can’t spot reduce?
Cruches and planks strenthen the muscles in the abdominal region, which in turns helps with your posture and abdominal muscle tone but it does not get rid of your fat stored there. Dont stop core work. It is still essential to a strong healhty spine and body but you can have strong abdominals and still carry a tire of fat around your middle.
How much green tea?
At least 2 a day morning and night.mosr important the night one. From what my nutritionist said.
Level of green tea intake to reap benefits isn’t firmly established, but you can safely include a few cups daily.
You can have max. two cups per day, I usually mix black and green. At night I drink green tea decaf before go to bed.
I can vouch on lots of green tea + low/no salt + low/no sugar diet + cardio. Lost around 14 lbs in 1 week and went down two sizes in my jeans (so it’s belly fat lost). This kind of stuff they says is not healthy, but can be done from time to time when needed, just like fasting.
The core work is important for building muscle in your powerhouse. The area that surrounds your organs and your spine is very important and needs strong muscles for protection. The more muscle you have everywhere, the higher your resting metabolism will be. You also will become more efficient at doing cardio with a strong core. That means more calories can be burned during a cardio session. Those are only a few of the benefits of core work.
I’ve been doing body works for 7 months now and zumba , I have lost a total of 43 lbs, but I have a lot of fat on the lower stomach , what can I do to get rid of it , and what exercises do you recommend?.
Make sure you modify your eating habits such as flour, sugar, bread and fried foods. Replace with whole grain, brown rice, chicken; fish and vegetable but corn contain sugar.
Great comments everyone.
Let me also add that avoiding sodium helps by hopefully reducing water retention (aka puffiness/bloating) — this is best combined with increasing potassium [from fruits + vegetables, lean meat and milk products].
better posture is what I see a lot on people of idea weight. The slouch that is becoming common or hip over rotation, stand up straight and your stomach is flat
