It’s the largest organ in the human body and everyone can see it. So it is no surprise that you want your skin to look and feel healthy. Here are some quick tips from Dr. Sean Daneshmand, M.D. that will help keep your skin looking and feeling younger!

Keep your face looking young…Don’t Smoke – And if you do it is not too late to quit. Among the already numerous health concerns related to smoking cigarettes is the research that attributes smoking to increasing lines and wrinkles in your face!

Use exfoliating products – This allows for your fresh new skin to be front and center letting the world see the most vibrant you. Exfoliating helps keep your skin silky smooth.

Use Sunscreen – That beautiful orb in the sky is life-giving, but also skin damaging — particularly in the middle of the day. Use a sun block that is at least SPF 15 and protects against both UVA and UVB rays; reapply often, and don’t be afraid to slather it on liberally.

Reduce stress – This is another factor, like smoking, associated with multiple health issues. But unlike smoking stress is not necessarily something we choose to have; although we can choose how we deal with it. Stress can worsen existing skin issues, so learn constructive ways to manage your stress for a healthier mind, body, soul…and to maintain beautiful radiant skin.
